Letter 3/12/11

Dear Family:
Here are some pictures for you. I hope that you enjoy them. Not too much crazy stuff or even stuff that is really exciting has been happening. Our investigators are being bums. Sister Garbo is still not baptized and I am preparing to hear the worst. Skily isn't answering our phone calls and a lot of people are getting sick. But we will still try our best to help them. That's all we really can do.
All's good.
Our lesson with the priests went really well. The Bishop said we did a really good job. The "why not" reasons were: money, girls, getting drafted, scholarships, family issues, and a couple of others. We might be teaching a lesson to the 16-17 year olds Sunday school class where we will throw a pie into the teachers face symbolizing that it's not good to push the gospel on someone.

Other than that it's just normal missionary life. Transfers are on the 22nd of March. I think Elder McGhin will go as he has been here for 7 1/2 months. It's his first area.
Well, I hope you enjoy the pictures. Have fun and keep reading your scriptures. They will help you answer all of life's questions.
Walking around at -20 degrees.
Other than that day it was warm.

Love,
Elder Thompson

After a cold day.
