Well, I can officially say that I can’t stand corned beef. Nasty! We were going to have it for dinner on the 17th but I told the lady that I didn't like it so she took us to a place where they were having a special so that her and Elder McGhin could have some and I could have whatever I wanted. So I thought that I was off the hook for having to eat that nasty Irish meal ha-ha but when we went to dinner on the 18th we sat down to Corn Beef and Cabbage! DANG IT! But I ate it with out any complaints, but it was very nasty and I did not like it but it’s done and over now.
We taught the 16-17 year old Sunday school class about the Atonement and it went well, I think. We had the kid named Shawn Goar do push up for us before any body could get a donut. We would ask the person if they wanted one and if they said yes he would have to do 10 push ups before we would give it to them. If they said no they he would do 10 push ups even though they didn't want it. This was to show that Christ suffered for everyone even if they don't accept it. We got it from a story called the Uneaten Donut, it’s a good story.
I got a call on Friday night and it was President Maynes and he asked me to train a new missionary! How crazy is that! I'm going to be a dad! I called Elder Palmer and right when he answered he asked if I was training and I said yes and then he started screaming! It was so funny. He was like, “I'm going to be a grandpa” while screaming. So that is my transfer. I will be getting a new missionary and Elder McGhin will be leaving. He will be opening up a new area. As far as me being nervous or whatever I have never had butterflies this bad since I got in the mission field.
Our investigators are doing alright and we just trying to meet with most of them. Skily got kicked out of school so she will be going back to her home. Kristina is doing just fine confused about a lot of things. Her mom and other people really messed her up. Other than that I am doing great and excited to train this new missionary. President said that I have to make him the best missionary in the whole mission and he also said that when they were in the MTC that President Monson said that training is the most important calling in the mission field ha-ha. No pressure!
