Ups and Downs

(Bruce Hill in the St. Anthony 2^nd ward suffered a spinal cord injury about 3 weeks ago; he is at Craig hospital doing rehabilitation.  It is right by where Bryce is serving.  We’d heard that they had had some contact with the people in his ward.)

Brother Hunter (that Bryce lives with) got a call from somebody about Bruce Hill.  I’m not sure. I will put it in a letter.  Brother Hunter went and gave him a blessing and Sister Hill asked him if he knew who I was and he was like yeah, he is my roommate,  hahaha. She was going to come to church but she didn’t. 

It was an ok week we had some ups and downs.  The Grabos, I think I have told you about them, a cool couple.  He is a less active, joined when he was 14 and then stopped when he was about 18.  He  had questions and stuff and he was interested in getting back in to church so we got a text and it says that he is a less active looking to get back in to church and we go over and meet him and his non-member wife she is very cool and progressing very well she is a cop.

We went over on Wednesday and talked with them about prophets and the word of wisdom and then at the end she asked if she could set and date for baptism.  Of course, we are so so so happy and then on Friday we get a call and she says that she and her husband need more time so when they want to reschedule.  They will give us a call. So yeah so we don’t really know when we will be able to teach them. Then there is Skily.  She was to be baptized yesterday but we didn’t have enough time to get every thing done that needed to be done and she was not spending enough time on her school work and her program is threatening  to throw her out. Can you email me the two pictures that the Tippets sent you?

(Brent talked with Gracie Hill and this is the story according to her.  Bruce's doctor is LDS, and apparently Bruce wanted a blessing and so the doctor contacted the ward where the hospital is located.  Brother Hunter was asked to go to the hospital and give Bruce the blessing.  While he was there Gracie asked if he knew Bryce and they made the connection.  Pretty interesting set of circumstances!)
