5 Dates

We are on a 9 day exchange.  Every three days we change companions.  Right now I am in Cherry Creek.  I don’t know why we are doing this just president said to do them so were doing them.  We finish on Wednesday.

I have seen some pretty incredible stuff though.  On Tuesday me and Elder Edevold were walking and we saw this lady crossing the street with her little boy.  We asked her about mormon.org and she said yes she'd seen it, and her little boy was like, yes I see you guys on TV all the time! He’s about 6ish.  So we’re talking to her and asking her what she’s heard.  She asks about the afterlife and  said that her brother died and she had raised him because their parents were losers.  We talk to her until we get to her house and she invites us in and we talk to her. To make a long story short she thinks the church is too good to be true and that it’s exactly what she been looking for.  So we set her on date for March 18^th.  Her name is Zeferena and she is in her twenties and her son is Josiah. 

On Friday Elder Oryang and I are tracting and knock on this door and this lady open up and invites us in. We sit down and she tells us her life story and stuff.  She is 71 and her name is Joan.  She has met with missionaries before but never been baptised so we set her on date for the 8th of April.  So that was two new investigators set on a date the first meeting in one week.

They are all in my area so we have 5 people set on date, yeah! They have to go to church three times and be living the word of wisdom for 2 weeks.  We have to move Debbie’s back a week because she got some kind of procedure and has to wait a week.
