Essay Question Answers = A Testimony

I thought I would share these here because Bryce really hasn't shared a lot of "testimony."  These are two essay questions he had to answer on his application to BYU-Idaho.

A - Describe a setback you have encountered in your life. Explain how you have handled the situation and what you have learned from it.

During the start of my mission I was very homesick.  I contemplated going home many times.  I prayed to my Heavenly Father a lot in those first few months about what I should do, if I should stay or go home.  I know Heavenly Father listens to our prayers and that he answers them in a way that will benefit us the most.  I am very grateful that my prayers were answered and that I stayed on my mission.  I know I can do anything with the help of our Heavenly Father.  He helped me though those tough times at the beginning of my mission, and will help my current  and future struggles.  I know that he will continue to do so.

D - Tell us anything else you want us to know about yourself that you haven't had the opportunity to describe elsewhere in the application.

I am a very easy going person and I like to help others be happy.  I like to do that because it makes me happy to see others happy.  I like having fun and working hard because that brings me the most satisfaction.  I have grown a lot since I have been on a mission and I have learned the importance of studying and being diligent in my work.
