Birthday Email -- the Big 2-OH
I am staying here for another transfer.
The birthday gifts have been good. I have liked them all. We are going over to Elder Morris's and Harding's to barbecue. It's going to be really cool and fun. I'm pretty excited.
This week has been a good week. We had two less active families come to church and both of the heads of the household Brother Melvin and Sister K (crazy one) bore their testimonies. It was sick! So cool, and the spirit was so strong it was probably the most I have ever felt it during a testimony meeting at church while being on my mission. Sister K's granddaughter was blessed so their family was there. We have been seeing a lot of changes in the people we are meeting with. They are either being more open and talking more or doing stuff to show they are interested.
I'm pretty happy for Tucker and his date. You probably saw the picture he sent me. I laughed and I bet he was pretty proud of himself when she was the first one to start the meeting.
Well, I don't have much time, I have to go and get my party on! haha
Bye, love you lots, Elder Thompson
Oh, yeah, I almost forgot. We will be calling at around 5 or 6. Plan on six though, but be ready for five but don't sit around and hold your breath for five but be prepared haha. I knew I was forgetting something.
