Your Son in Colorado

Last night, we had the pleasure of having your son in our home for dinner. From time to time, we invite missionaries  into our home, but your son impressed us a little more than most. As parents, we know how rewarding it can be to hear good things about our children from time to time. We just want you to know that "Elder" Thompson (We assume he has a first name) was not only very polite and courteous, but also genuinely enjoyable to have around. And on such a snowy and cold night.........

Thank you for raising him in such a manner. You can be very proud of how he carries himself, and of his commitment to the work he is doing. We hope that your family is doing well, and that you feel of our appreciation of what you have done, and what you may have sacrificed to be without him for a time. You can be very proud of him. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful young man with us.
