I'm Staying

We got to the temple and out pretty quick today.  I am staying here with Elder Brown.

Conference was GREAT. I really liked the talks of Elder Holland and Elder Maxwell.  (He meant Elder Nelson.)   We watched at the church and I don't really like doing that. Yes, we did stand when they told all of the full-time missionaries to stand.

Elder Brown and I  don't clash at all.  He is way cool.  I am glad in some ways that I am staying and in some ways not.  I still get see all of the cool people in the ward and around town and stuff and I will hopefully get to baptize Andres and all of the elders in my district and my zone leaders, but I do still want to go and experience something new but I must be here for a reason.

I know dad just wants me to get to Grand Junction to go and see where they do camp Jeep! I have seen some really sweet Jeeps around and I'm tempted to take a picture but I don't.

Here is my weird story for the week:  We were knocking on doors and  we were sitting there and we hear this faint "hello" so we say hello back. It says "one second" we think, so we wait there for a bit and then this crazy guy with an eye patch and a cane rips open the door (he was kinda of a bigger man)  and asks us if we are Mormon missionaries. We say yes and he tells us to <bad word> off and get off the porch. So then Elder Brown asks if we could do any service for him and he tell us, "No, I used to be Mormon!" and then flipped us off and shut the door. And then he opens it again and tells us to leave or else he is going to call our district leader and complain. But Elder Brown is the district leader so he said the he was going to call the cops and slammed the door. We left and walked to the next house and this guy comes out as we are walking up his driveway and he asks if we are coming over to his home and we say, yep! We talk with him for a bit and then we gave him a Book of Mormon.  It was pretty cool. haha
I was thinking that dad and I can go out and do church stuff when I get back. That will be some much fun haha. I need you to send me my winter stuff.  I have to get going.  Elder Hill, my zone leader, was wondering how Boise is doing?  BYU stinks haha.  I hope Boise does good and wins all their games.
Well, until next week, love you lots.   I will tell you all of the crazy things happening at transfers.
Bye
