Email 8/11/10
Brandon is doing great and his baptism is on Friday. Leon is doing well too, we just have to pick out a baptism date for him and make sure that he knows that he is ready because he is. We taught him about the WoW and the law of chastity. Andres is doing well. We are helping him to quit smoking and he has gone almost a week! That’s so cool! He will be getting baptized soon too.
The bike is good haha. I have almost lost it twice. Once we were going around a corner and there is a big curb in the way and I didn’t turn sharp enough and ran in to the curb. But I kept it steady. Then another time we were riding really fast down Broadway and a lady was crossing the street so Elder Palmer started to slow down and I ran in to the side of his tire and I almost biffed it hard-core but I rode it out and it was all good. So, nope, no wrecks.
Being here is just a little different than home haha! There are all types of people here. The hardest things to imagine is that the people that you pass on the street probably aren’t LDS.
I have had my hair cut. I will try to get a picture of the guy that cut my hair he is a cool guy.
